Matrioska Cemento, the new album

The ska-punk movement had a moment of glory at the end of the 90s, a period in which they formed also Matrioska. After the fashion were few people play this kind, almost always followed only by those who have less than 20 years. "Cemento" is the fifth album by the band from Milan, strictly in Italian, the lyrics have become more mature and classic texts playful alternate deeper reflection, however, without exaggeration. Like the previous work combines ska old-fashioned, as in the title track, for "Due persone",  "Firenze" and the melodic punk, as in "Qualcosa dovrà pur succedere". Also acoustic moments like "Infiniti Ponti" and  "Guardando il mare". Recommended for those who are, or you feel young.

Bonomo Bonomo - Il generale Inverno

The expression the album is named after, aside from the historical quote, refers to the invisible enemy that restrains our work, not letting us move, paralysing our feelings. A theme that flows through the ten songs of the album. They are ten potential singles where, apart from Tommy Graziani and Luca Nobile's drum contribution, everything is performed by Bonomo: guitars, bass, keyboards and programming. Multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, Bonomo loves contrast, constant inspiration for his artistic choices. The most relevant contrast, the sea and the steel working suburbs of his home town, influences his musical expression half-way between pop-rock and electronic, between Mittle-European psychedelia and Italian songwriting, rough grooves and ethereal atmospheric ballads.
